I went to Life Plaza again this past Monday to meet some friends and perused the snacks whereupon I found an interesting snack called Cheese Kamaboko made of (wait for it...) cod fish & cheese.  So, of course I bought it :D  Not that I'm a fan of cod fish & cheese together, but it looked like it might be good (key word being "looked").  It even had those little things at the ends of it like sausage links!  So cute!

Anyway, I tried it and it was not that tasty, but the best part was tricking the boy into eating it, while not explaining what it was.  :D

me:  Oh!  I forgot what I bought... oh yeah.  Here honey, try it.
boy:  What is it?
me:  It's this thing with cheese in it.
boy:  Okay.  [insert me helping him unwrap it, then him biting into it]
boy:  [strange look on face]
me:  :D
boy:  What is this?
me:  Cod fish and cheese!
boy:  D:
me:  I told my friend I was going to have you try it without telling you what it was. :D
boy:  Oh, there is going to be some revenge.
me:  :D!

Hehe! :D  Lots of giggling was involved, I might add.

Heather on my lap

Spent a lovely night with my sweetie after work.  We made twice baked potatoes (man, it's amazing how only half of one can make you full!) and watched some more of the first season of Scrubs.  Yum.  And now I am off to shower and bed! :) 

my name is kitty, and i like to "pick" food from trees/bushes/plants.

Beas Meeply and i were having a talk to night about how i like to "forage" for my food, and he's absolutely right.  looks like its edible and it's on a bush/tree?  i'll want to pick it and eat it.  is that edible? i'll ask.  predominantly, the answer is "no" followed by a real hand smacking if necessary.

i tend to want to eat one thing and only that thing until am sick of it. the other night, i felt like bananas.  not just any old bananas, either, oh no!  i had to have those tiny, cute bananas that you see at the market where it just really doesn't make sense to buy them if you feel like eating all of them in one sitting.  best just to buy "regular" sized bananas, but what fun is there in doing that?

this is partly why i enjoy playing yoshi touch & go on the DS so much.  i love to gather the foods so that he poops out eggs!  it doesn't matter if i have enough eggs, i feel inordinately sad when i miss some food that i could have gotten my hands on.

Beas Meeply decided that the best kind of market for me would have bushes everywhere with food inside of them so that i could "pick" them, and i have to admit that that excites me.  pick cereal from a bush?  sure! :D  my mom has a lovely,  seedless and super sweet dwarf mandarin orange tree that has one fruit left that i really want to pick and eat, but she won't let me pick it and it kills me.  even though i have many other trees to pick fruit from, it doesn't matter!  i want.that.one.

yeah.  i have issues.  and i really want some tiny bananas. :)~

about heather, the kittenhead, being locked in the bedroom that has a soft, comfy bed and her kitty condo for 30 minutes while we move the couch out:

dan:  do you suppose that heater is hungry?
me:  hungry?
dan:  yeah.  like, she has that whole bloated tummy going on, with her mouth opening going "aggagh" and flies around her eyes.
me:  umm, i don't think so. 
dan:  ...
me: but you can close the front door and find out.
dan:  ...nah, i don't really think she's starving.
me:  okay.

note:  heather got the name "heater" because i went to petco to make her a tag and "heather" wouldn't fit on there, much less "heather huynh" (her first and last name, although her middle name has yet to be decided.  more news on that forthcoming).  at any rate, since she couldn't be "heather", she became "heater", sadly.  this will soon be rectified when i buy her a new, cute, pink tag.  yay!
