Have you had xoi ga before?  If you haven't, you should!  It is so delicious!

I've been craving it since I came back from Viet Nam... it's different from the way my mom makes it.  Here is a picture from the place I had it at in Hanoi.  May not look so appetizing, but it SO YUM!  *crave*  Sticky rice, fried onions, mung beans, chicken...mmm...

Xoi ga, yum!

Remains - Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon
From the unaired Dollhouse episode, placed on a flash drive for me by the boy so I could view it here in Việt Nam.

The video is nothing but a still from the episode, so it's sort of boring in that way, but I love the song so much.  I would share it, but I purchased it on my iPhone, so that'll have to wait until I come back to the states.

Raise Today - Peasant
Raise Today - Peasant

I love this song -- I hope you do, too.

Lyrics:

What is there missing from me that I see in you?

What can I say?

What can I do for you?

I find myself trying each day, I want to grow up.

What do I know?

Seems that I can't force feeling...

Because everything is dancing alone,

Circling that I cannot see.

And all the time slipping away.

You try to remember the days,

And gathering all the pictures we took.

Together and apart we will die,

Because everything is dancing alone.

Just trying to stay on the go.

I find myself reaching to grab you away.

Feelings today...

Don't look away from me.

Holding our hands out in the crowd every day,

Losing the way.

No more to know we will stay,

Because everything is dancing alone,

Circling that I cannot see.

And all the time everything is slipping away.

You try to remember the days,

And gathering all the pictures we took.

Together and apart we will die,

Because everything is dancing alone.

Just trying to stay on the go.

The Ting Tings
Just a song I like -- again, I have no idea why the album art works.  I've done the same thing as I always do, yet it seems to be hit or miss with it.

I know I've posted about Bon Iver before, but I finally got around to downloading the music, so here's to sharing it. :)

Do you like coffee?

And do you like gingerbread cookies?  You should get this coffee-- I mean it.  It is delicious.

Trader Joe's Gingerbread Coffee
Trader Joe's Gingerbread Coffee
I had a sample of this at two local TJ locations and became infatuated, then I bought a can and have been in love since.  I don't drink a lot of frou frou drinks from Starbucks or other places anymore because they are too sweet for me, but I love that this is just a coffee that I brew and I can add as much (or as little) sugar and cream as I want.  Delicious.

As it states, it is "coffee spiked with real ginger, cinnamon and cloves."  Yum.  And those "spikes" are actual pieces in the coffee, not flavoring just the beans, so you see the bits before you grind!
